Book more fall sessions using a sense of urgency

Hey business owners! It’s the beginning of November, but it’s not too late to book some additional fall photo sessions. There's still time to reach out to your clients.

Many families are still in need of getting their photos done right now. The weather is gorgeous, and the fall colors create beautiful photogenic backdrops. Take advantage of this time of year when folks come together for the fall holidays. Families and even business groups are planning for their annual Christmas card photos. It’s the perfect time to remind them that it's not too late to book their appointment with you.

When you email your customers, use the language that will create a sense of urgency. These are great words that will spur people into action. Try to incorporate some of these action-inspiring phrases in your next email:

  • “Only 10 spots left”
  • “My calendar is filling up fast”
  • “The next 6 people will get priority spots on my calendar”
  • “After these spots are filled I’m closed ‘til Christmas!”

People don’t like the feeling that they’ve missed an opportunity. Using words that create a sense of pressure will motivate the clients on your list to contact you for appointments, and soon. Make sure you’re ready to receive them - have your calendar handy once you send that email!
